Was referred to Albany med pediatric neurosurgery by our pediatrician. Spent nearly a month attempting to make an appointment with the office with no luck. I still have yet to be able talk to someone. There were times I was on hold waiting only to be hung up on. Most times it would ring and ring only to ultimately go to voicemail… in which the messages I left never received a callback. Dr. Pugh was great when we saw him. Really sat down and explained some things we had seen in our daughter that no one else told us, or that we hadn’t understood.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My child has been a patient there since 2021. In that time he has been through 2 providers. The last time his provider left I was told they would have someone new and would call when they learned his schedule. I never recieved a call and when I reached out they said to call back in December. I called in December and they said call back in january. If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is the worst, most frustrating experience I have ever had. I will be reporting this office to the medical board. My son who was referred to see a neurologist by his provider and an emergency room doctor still does not have an appointment MONTHS later - and 25 or more calls later. The same scenario other reviewers have cited. Different information from everyone I speak with in the office WHEN i can speak with anyone. I have spent 4 weeks in phone calls with this office attempting to make an appointment for my 5 month old. I have been told on various occasions that they do not have the referral, do not have his records, need time to review his records and then back to the beginning....they once again so not have his referral or records. The office does not return phone calls or apparently receive the faxes sent in from other offices.
