We are local, (Laramie) but we wanted to rent a sled since I wanted to go with the boyfriend. Minus being yelled at for parking in front of mail boxes why we were taking care of paper work to rent (we went out on a Monday that was a bank holiday so no mail was being delivered), we had a good time. We didn’t do a full day of riding and the manager was nice and credited us a discount. We have gone up there on separate occasions to just eat and enjoy the scenic drive. The rental sled had scratches and we pointed out a few they ... read more
I came 1st with my brother back in January for 2 days to scope Albany Lodge out for the 1st time prior to bringing 10 others for a March trip. The previous 5yrs we'd been going to the U P but decided to try something different. We did some research and found this place and my brother-in-law lives in Ft Collins about 2hrs away so figured, cool, it’s close to family so let’s check it out! The 1st morning at Albany Lodge, Brad got us on our machines and personality wise he s...Continue Reading
This is the second year in a row that we have gone here and I have nothing to say but great things. People are very friendly and professional. We stayed at the Charlie cabin both times and for the money it is a great place. Sleds were top notch and we had not issues with them or the staff at all. Good job and we will be back.
Website says you must be sixteen years old to drive a machine. So when we called and reserved 6 machines we verified the age limit to drive. It was never mentioned that you had to have a drivers license. So it was very disappointing when we arrived to find out my grandson couldn’t drive and had to be a passenger. We traveled a long way and through 3 different states to come to The Albany Lodge for this experience. I hope in the future they make it clear on their website and phone conversations about must have a drivers licen... read more
Thanks for the help in the shop with my Polaris and to the gal that was kind to pick up the bolts at TNT. Thanks Dave
Great experience, rented mo-bils (sleds) with no problems. Food and drinks were great! If you go, you have to get to know the locals, great people!
I have been many places, but Albany lodge is by far the most disrespectful, greedy, arrogant place ive ever been to. Their sled rental is a joke, they let first time snowmobile riders inspect their sled before taking off unaware of the small scratches and damages the greasy mechanics hide to charge you, and if you question the recent damage files they will refuse to show you. And if you do question if the sleds are getting fixed or not be prepared to be screamed at by the slimey mechanic named Greg. Every person in the place... read more
