ACVH was founded in 1922 as a mixed large and small animal practice by Dr. John J. Wermuth, a Cornell graduate. Dr. Milford Becker, also a Cornell veterinarian, purchased the practice in 1952 and made the transition to a primarily companion animal practice in the 1960's, before selling it to Dr. Donald Dries in April 1977. Was told my dog had one issue that really seemed as if the vet was guessing and it up costing me $400 at the emergency clinic to find out my dog had a blockage.Sorry they guess way to much about things and seemed more interested in selling you nonsense things you can buy online for 50% cheaper.
Wonderful vets. They remember your pets and what is going on, take great care with them, and go above and beyond when there is a problem. I can't recommend Dr. Jarvis highly enough.
