I started out going to the Newton Rd. location under the care of Dr. Keisha Johnson and when she moved to the Dawson location I followed. Months later she was no longer with the company. She was by far the best I’d come by. She truly cared and it showed in the care she provided. Bring her back!!! I’m now seeing Dr. Shay (Pettit) and she’s amazing too! Very unprofessional health insurance group and I will not be going back to them nor referring anyone. I had an appointment for a annual eye examination, which I stated to the person on the phone when making it. Also I stated to the receptionist, the nurse, and Dr. Johnson that I was there for my annual appointment when they asked. My insurance covers free of charge an Annual, but AAPHC coded it as a Speciality visit which caused me to pay a co payment. I contacted them to send in the correct code but they refused.
