Horrific traffic. Location is horrible. Find somewhere else to stay. Staff was very unprofessional. If you call 911 for a medical emergency they will kick you out. Even when wife advised front desk that husband was having a grand mall seizure. They had 1 year old baby girl and temperature was in the negatives. So make sure you are in excellent health before booking here.
We've stayed for 1 night off season. There were just a couple of guests in the hotel, hence quiet. Kitchenette (!) with all you need for you stay is a huge plus while traveling Alaska. BTW, Wasilla is a large place, lots of services, relatively cheap gas. If you fail to find an accommodation in Palmer, Wasilla is just 20 mins away.
I'm only in one night of 5 and I am blown away by the amazing staff (accommodating, generous, friendly) and the room (spacious, efficient, and safe). I would recommend this place to everyone.
We enjoyed everything offered during our stay. Highly recommend!
Our room looked nothing like the photos. We got a room with 2 queen beds. One of the beds was about a foot from the refrigerator and I could have reached out and touched it. We did not have a chair and one wall was lined with 3 mirrored closets. It was the weirdest looking room. It was nice and clean but I think it must have been set up for an extended stay visit.
