Alaska Youth and Family Network is a great place for help and support. Me and my 3 children have attended their family support night on Fridays and they give out great family infused help and guidance as well as great meals designed in a big family environment. The learning activities for the children are fun and educational. The learning experience/coaching for the parents are very intuitive and have helped curve my own family situation.
If I could give this place zero stars that would be a compliment. It's a "non profit" that almost entirely staffed by the same immediate family members. They will help you- which is their job- and then the director will throw the things in your face like a salty ex. Whatever you do- DO NOT TAKE PARENTING CLASSES WITH THEM! If you try to hold the staff accountable for egregious behaviors and gross incompetence- they will hold your certificate hostage and it will negatively affect your case.
