RecommendedIt's not often that we buy new tires but this has been our shop of choice when we do. Not only are the prices almost impossible to beat, they also are a no BS kind of place. I went in with a brand of tire in mind for my purchase but learned (in layman's terms) why that might not be the best choice for our extreme cold. I actually got "down sold" and saved quite a bit of money and I absolutely LOVE my new tires! I feel so much safer on the roads.
I have been an Alaska Tire and Rim customer for as long as they have been in business, and I so appreciate their professionalism, their work, and the attention to detail they demonstrate. Several of the employees have been there for years and I trust their work and what they tell me. They are honest, hardworking, pleasant. knowledgeable, and have created an excellent and well-deserved reputation.
I had a hole in my tire and was a good leak, called to ask if they had my size tires and they did and asked how long it would take and if they could do it now. They said yes can do it as soon as I get there and should be about 45 mins. They had them changed in 30 mins all 4 tires. Thank you for ur help.
I had a old tire blow out on me this morning and my insurance company towed me for free to Anchorage Tire and Rim. They were honest with me up front about the condition of my tires and told me what I already knew... That my tires were almost 7 years old and the others looked like the one in the rear that blew. I opted to get all new tires rather than just buy one used tire, which the guy said I could do.. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes from the time we pulled up in the tow truck..
