Really professional from the beginning to end. Thank you Carol and Dr. Kontny. I'd definitely recommend for all surgery or pain that this office provides.
I had a gall bladder surgery done by Dr. Kontny. My pain was immediately gone after my surgery. Dr. Kontny was able to see me immediately and was very thorough and compassionate. She explained the whole process and I felt very comfortable going into surgery with her. Dr. Kontny's staff is very caring and empathetic. I highly recommend Dr. Kontny as a surgeon.
I went to Dr. K because I could get in sooner than the other breast specialist in town. I'm SOO glad I did. She made me feel comfortable, she let me talk through all of my anxieties, she did an amazing job on my excision. Her MA is so helpful and kind. I did see the other dr I was referred to, HORRIBLE experience with that lady. She even told me "oh, just ignore it" when it came to my symptoms!! OMG. I'm happy I found Dr. Kontny and feel it was the best experience I could have had during this time.
Took my 17 yo in for a breast reduction consult due to ongoing related medical issues. The "Dr." said she, "personally" did not believe in "masectomies" for persons under 18 yo. She did NOT review my child's medical concerns AT ALL. Extremely disappointed in this Dr. The front desk receptionist/nurse(?) was kind and frankly the best thing about this office visit.
Dr.Kontny has by far made one of the worst experiences in my life have a far better outcome than what could’ve happened…in short, she saved my life. Being rushed to the ER with horrible abdominal pain I was admitted to the hospital for acute cholecystitis and it would’ve been a far worse experience if she wouldn’t have stepped in and took over for the general surgeon who thought it wasn’t a more urgent situation.
