Care was excellent. My moderate rating is because of a balance bill from the nurse anesthetists and weak office staff. The nurse anesthetists used by Alaska Lasik are not in the Premera network, which results in an unnecessary balance bill from the anesthetists. It was hard to get any accurate insurance information from the office staff. They wanted me to sign a statement saying Alaska Lasik could balance bill when that is prohibited under their contract.
