After a site visit to eval my fireplace for replacement and/or repair, owner, Craig G. and I agreed that he would order a new valve and contact me to arrange installation when the part arrived. After one week I called to for an update and received no call back to both that and 2 additional calls. Very strange and unprofessional behavior from a business owner. Deal with someone who will respect your time.
Our 20+ year old chimney developed several cracks in the base and sides and needed replacing. The base of our marble surround also had some cracks and also needed replacing. After researching and obtaining quotes from several companies in our area (Pike County in northeastern PA) we settled on Alaska company as they had by far the best combination of choice, quality, and price. I very rarely give bad reviews, however, I'm very disappointed with this company. I've called two times with in the last couple of months. I have left messages for information regarding cleaning services and have never heard back. Not a great indication as to someone I'd choose to do business with!
