I went to see Dr. Barbosa because of an abnormal mammogram and dense breast tissue. As it turned out everything was fine, but Dr. Barbosa was wonderful. She was so open and shared everything with me. Went through all my tests thoroughly herself before looking at what other doctors had written, then compared. She made sure to go through everything I could do for myself and answered all my questions. The woman in her office who checked me in and did preliminary vitals was also wonderful. Dr. Barbosa was fabulous. Her and her staff were incredibly helpful and focused on getting the client the best care possible. My visit included a free risk assessment for breast, ovary and colon cancers, which was well explained to me and greatly appreciated. While I went to this clinic for an issue outside of their specialty, I would be more than happy to go back to them in the future if needed. Very ethical, friendly care.
Dr. B is fabulous! She turned what could be an extremely stressful and scary experience into one of reassurance and absolute positivity. She took time to really listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions and made sure I understood all of my options. I couldn't ask for a better doc!

If you want top notch cosmetic results and an exceptionally positive experience overall while going through a difficult diagnosis then Dr. Barbosa is THE answer...and not just in Alaska. She literally is THE BEST.
Most amazing doctor ever. She approaches medicine from a whole body perspective which I have never before experienced in Alaska. She also helps reduce fear and increases positive thinking. We are lucky to have her!
