Dr. Yan completely reconstructed both of my feet. I suffer from a form of muscular dystrophy called Charcot-Marie Tooth Disease. I was barely able to stand and walk when I first met with him. My case was so complex and he took every precaution and had me meet with other surgeons to see what should be done done first. Him and his staff treated me and my family with great care and respect. After 5 long surgeries over the course of a year and a half, I now walk better then I ever have. I have gained feeling in feet and the abil... read more

Had complex foot surgery Feb 22.2022. I had a lot of foot pain due to arthritis and a botched prior surgery. Dr. Yan said he could give me at least 40% less pain, which I was happy with. After about 3 months, I started getting terrible nerve pain. They said that was normal. That the nerves would heal. After dealing with horrible pain for 5 months, I finally convinced another Dr. To do a nerve conduction test, to find that a nerve was damaged during my surgery. Now instead of having 40% less pain, I have 100% more pain.

I have severe ankle and foot trauma from a motorcycle accident (1981), in which my foot was reattached instead of being amputated. Over the years, I have developed several problems and would need surgery again. After several consults and evaluations, I was having a difficult time finding a surgeon who was confident in performing surgery. But when I met Dr. Yan his character was obvious to me. He did a t... read more
