Dr. Rubin is very sympathetic and has a warm 'bedside manner'. He is very thorough and makes sure he understands the full situation before making suggestions. While Dr. Rubin has the advantage of years of knowledge practicing psychiatry, he is also up to date on current practice and medications. He is very easy to talk to and truly cares about his patients. I wish I had started working with Dr. Rubin sooner.

I have been seeing Dr. Rubin for about 20 years, initially for anxiety. He placed me on medicine at that time which effectively managed my that anxiety. Under his care I have been totally stable and able to manage my life in a positive, productive way facing and dealing with difficult times, ie death of loved ones, caring for aging and ill parents, etc.
