BPH hit me at a younger age than normal. Dr. Weinberg suggested Rezum in order to take care of the problem. I believe he said he has done over 500 procedures with a 90+% success rate. Sorry Dr. Weinberg, I don't remember the exact percentage. Maybe 95+%? I think I am 6+ months post procedure and I am extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Weiberg and Rezum.
Go see Dr Weinberg and the staff at Southland Urology. I was a walk-in. I explained my concerns. Dr Weinberg quickly identified what the underlying issues could be, tested for them, determined what was wrong and provided me with treatment options, potential outcomes and side effects. He gave me resources and information and I was as knowledgeable a patient as could be. We made treatment decisions with my spouse - so everyone was aware. Dr. Weinberg performed the surgery to remove my cancerous prostrate back in March of 2015. He has yearly reviewed my status ever since with a zero PSA number("no cancer"). He is retiring this year and will be sorely missed. When you're fighting cancer, it is just like fighting a war. Doctor Weinberg is great. He gets to the point and explains everything perfectly. He lives quite far from me but is worth the drive. I trust him 100% for his knowledge and compassion. Dr. Weinberg was referred to me by a friend and I am forever grateful to my friend and Doctor Weinberg. He saved my life and is always there for me.
Dr Weinberg is professional and cares about your needs. He performed the Rezum procedure on me for an enlarged prostate. The outcome was phenomenal. I went from utilizing the restroom every 45 to 60 minutes daily to once every 3 or more hours.
When I developed prostate cancer I was refereed to Dr Weinberg. After the consult, he recommended DaVinci robot surgery. I then got 2 other opinions from well know cancer clinics, both of them asked who my doctor was and they both said " why are you here, Dr Weinberg is a great doctor and surgeon, that is who I would use for myself". OK, that doesn't happen to often. Needless to say all went well and today I'm 9 years past and have a zero PSA test. Yeh! Oh ya... he saved my life... I will always be grateful.
Dr. Weinberg is definitely rushed but I believe it is because he's been doing this forever and there's not much he hasn't seen. Additionally, this allows for more patients to benefit from his expertise as they can get in much faster. I prefer to spend as little time as possible in a doctors office as possible. Weinberg performed Rezum and I am happy with the outcome. He and I may not be best friends (other negative reviews) but what I really need is a very good doctor - he is definitely that.
Became a patient of Dr. Weinberg after having BPH for around 8 years. Was using GP prescribed medications until they became ineffective. Dr. Weinberg suggested the Rezum out-patient procedure. I was referred to Dr. Weinberg by my GP. Was getting up 3-4 times a night. After reviewing treatments I decided to have the Rezum, out-patient procedure. It was uncomfortable for a couple of days but all of my symptoms have gone away and I am sleeping all night. I am very glad I asked him for help with my problem and highly recommend him.
