I read the reviews and was kinda nervous going in but I went in anyway. The receptionist was super friendly and nice. So it was time to go back and meet the Dr. His nurse assistant was super sweet and friendly and funny and very likable we went over all my complaints and then it was wait time for the DR. He came in introduced himself and went over my records. He was super thorough, super nice , great bedside manor and NOTHING absolutely NOTHING like he reviews revealed him to be. Great sense of humor that made me feel totall... read more

Thank you Cathy. We appreciate you being our patient.
2 hours late Office visit No apologies No show For colonoscopy Procedure No apologies
I had my first colonoscopy/endoscopy done by Dr. Bank. The first opening available for the procedure was a month from the office visit. I was told that I could call for any cancellations. I was okay with the date bc I really did not want this done. I was the big 50! And was having problems. The office is run like a well oiled machine. The appointment is made, you are made aware of your insurance co-pay, a prescription for the prep is given with a very handy Step by step guide explaining the prep and what to expect. The prep ... read more
My mom was scheduled for her first colonoscopy, the idea of which has always stressed and frightened her. It took a long time for my mom to finally reach the point of being comfortable enough with getting this done. She conquered her anxieties. So she doesn't deserve a doctor with an ego that's just as outrageously inflated as his stubbornness. With as scared as my mom was to even have this procedure done in the first place, you'd think any doctor's office would want to ensure the patient stays as calm and relaxed as possibl... read more

We are sorry for your negative experience but this is an account of how the staff handled the situation, not how Dr. Bank handled it. He has addressed with his staff so this does not happen again.
I have been a patient of Dr. Bank's for 5 years and he is great. His staff has always been helpful as well. I highly recommend him if you want a doctor who cares and is honest about your health condition.
This is one doctor I will never see again. I saw Dr. Bank for very symptomatic acid reflux, not improved with PPRIs, diagnosed by laryngoscopy by an ENT. Dr. Bank was arrogant and dismissive. Spending a maximum of five minutes With me, Dr. Bank basically told me he had little regard for the diagnosis by an ENT, that the lump I felt in my throat was anxiety (this was only one of my symptoms) and that I could try other antacids. He ignored all other symptoms and focused only on the sensation of a lump in my throat, Went to som... read more
I had to wait 1.5 hours before he came into the room without even an acknowledgement for the long wait!! When I asked the desk how much longer her answer was, “I don’t know “ He spent about 3 minutes with me. I’m going to switch to another practice. There are other fine Drs in the area with better office staff.
This doctor seemed very nice. My experience: he did not call me back ever. His staff are only message-takers. The PA is incapable of dialoguing with you if you ask a question which requires a fact-based answer. The question: Can I continue taking the prescribed drug ending shortly for a SIBO infection due to not feeling much better? The reply was get another opinion," and a letter dismissing me from the practice. In one day found a much better doctor with an educated physician assistant
Dr. Bank has been my gastroenterologist for the last 6 or 7 years. He is a very thorough, empathic, professional physician. He came highly recommended to me from unrelated source. I highly recommend him. I have also felt that his staff has been courteous, professional, and helpful!!
