Good customer service
I’ve worked with dozens of title companies over the years. After closing a few transactions with Alamo, I can confidently say that Maria and her team (Gabi & Elizabeth) are one of the best we’ve worked with yet! They are fast, knowledgeable, & it really feels like they care. Would recommend them to anyone working on a real estate transaction.
Watch out if this company tries to talk you into letting them sale a piece of property that you inherited. They will tell you they will pay the back taxes. They will pay the taxes and send you what is left over, but when tax time comes they will send the 1099S form with the full amount of the sale to you. You will be taxed on the full income of the sale.
