Been comin to the Alamo in downtown for years befpre they shut down, but the OG location fills that void (especially when tamale season rolls around). If the line’s long, the bakery next door can also help hold you over, but it’s ALWAYS been worth the wait.
Went to Farmers Market location on Airline. Once the best tamales in town, WOW what in the world happened? They forget to include the meat. I’m very DISAPPOINTED and DISGUSTED. Never again will I waste my hard earned money at ALAMO TAMALES.
