Wonderful store! They are so helpful. I love the classes. I have been going here for 6 years now. You need to come touch the yarn!
My friend gave me a mini tour of the store and discussed the different yarns and threads. If you pardon the pun I was hooked just looking at the possibilities. I've never even held knitting needles so I signed up for the classes.
The yarn is great.

I have to say this has always been my favorite store. But as of yesterday it no longer is Judy the co owner was so rude. Saying she wasn’t going to stamp our passports until we walked through her shop and see everything. 1 I walked through her shopped and asked the ladies there a few question saw the unicorn zip pouches. My goal was to get stamped out of the way and go back in to buy the sparkling yarn. I've just started my knitting adventure and Alamitos Bay Yarn Company is my favorite yarn shop! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, the selection of yarn is amazing! The classes are great...I wasn't sure I could actually learn this craft, but the staff is always there to help when needed and I am so happy with my new skill.

Alamitos Bay ALWAYS has the colors I need when someone asks for a custom hat to make them feel comfort and warmth while undergoing chemo. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. They have been a wonderful supporter of Knots of Love for 10 years. Thanks Alamitoa Bay!
