Just had my iMac worked on, and they replaced the old style "spinning" hard drive with a solid state drive. Runs like a champ!!
My laptop was no longer taking a charge i went to everyplace i could think of in Alameda and they all either said flat out that it was not fixable, my motherboard was bad and it was not a cost effective repair, a couple flat out gave me quotes all of with were were well over $500.
