The bartender here is awful. Don't be a visitor or like me, traveling for work. He won't serve you. Or maybe it's my race. Who is to say. I will NEVER go back.
We always find the food at alaMar to be exceptional. This is a favorite spot of mine for after hours with colleagues and date nights. And for watching the Warriors during the Playoffs!

Moving to NorCal from the Chi has been an adjustment culinary wise, but dannnngggg!? This place is ok with me!! The Oxtails are so good that you will lick your fingers and the bowl and won't care who's looking?!
