RecommendedMy son and I spent a deliberate afternoon in Oakland on Juneteenth...Yelped Black owned Business and landed at alaMar. Oxtails 🙌🏼 for me and Dominican Fried Chicken for my son. Considering he shared ONE bite with me before inhaling the rest, I’m thinking he enjoyed his meal!

RecommendedAlaMar is so very kindly help feed furloughed/laid off bar and industry employees for free during the mandatory shelter in place. I had the opportunity to enjoy a lovely pasta bolognese and asparagus soup this evening and am thrilled to be able to recommend this incredible service to others. Once they reopen I will absolutely be making AlaMar a regular eatery. Thank you!
