I was very impressed by Alamance Medical Center. From the first time I started with having tests done to the time of my surgery everything went smoothly and all the staff and techs were very friendly. I had same day surgery and stayed over night and was treated with excellent care. Thank you Alamance
Been waiting 7 hours so far and still not back!!! Only 3 other people in the waiting area!! This is absurd!!!!!
Worst hospital i have been to. They cant even answer your questions when you ask them. My son has been sitting in an area called the subway for 3 hours while others come in after us and have left. I wouldnt even bring my dog here. How do you leave some one sitting in the waiting room with blood gushing out his nose?
Utterly ridiculous wait time in ER! Waiting in the lobby for 3 hrs in the wee hours of the morning is unacceptable..especially when it's a child in there with a fever of 103...Minimizing the wait time should have been a top priority for improvement...not remodeling the dept...
Horrible experience. Came in at 11p and its now 221am and my kid still hasn't seen a doctor. She came in bleeding and in need of stitches and I had to make a fuse just to be triaged where I was told by the nurse oh I've seen worse at least her bone is not sticking out. Worst experience I've had at a hospital and I have 3 kids so I've had many ER visits. Can I give negative stars.
I do not care for them I think their are Ignorant doctors! My daughters last bill there will only get paid what Insurance pays. They let her leave n a non protective shoe for a broke foot an no crutches said she didn't need him. After going to specialist next day he said it should have been cast an never walked on there a main tendon that runs right where she broke it an hopefully she didn't do damage from walking on it. He stated that shoe was doing nothing for her!!!
Last night (6/2/2015) my family had to go to the ER. The staff, nurses, PA's, and doctors were excellent. My daughter (2 years old) fell and hit her head and we were concerned she may have had a concussion. Everyone was super helpful and so kind to our little girl. Thank you to all the folks who were working last night at the ER. You helped calm a mother's concerns and were a blessing to our family!
I will NEVER EVER come here, bring anyone, or recommend this so called hospital to ANYONE!! I sat in a room for hours, nurse just walked out during vital signs to stay gone for over an hour and a half, and the dr, HA! Didn't take any time to read my chart!!! I've always said this is a bandaid hospital and boy did it live up to its name!!!!!
