I wish I could give ZERO stars. Five months later and still haven't gotten our income tax refund. It has been "in process" and well past the 8-12 weeks given for processing. One number, you just get an automated phone tree. Another number gets you to a person but they can only tell you it is "in process" currently on a third number to see if they can be helpful.
The Alabama Department of Revenue is not located at this address. They have moved to 250 Riverchase Parkway East on the 4th floor. There is a small sign on one door inside this building at 2020 Valleydale Rd where they used to be that tells you the new address and there are almost no people to tell you that they have moved. Kira at the Montgomery location is very nasty and rude. I called Jefferson county and spoke with a male with better sense. Thank GOD ! You will be running in OrCircles with Kira for she is the type of operator who won’t let you get out two words before she gets out 20. So if you were placed to speak with her, please ask for a different customer service representative at the Montgomery location. you’re welcome. I was instructed to create an online ticket on their platform and they would respond to my inquiry in 24 hours. I created ALDOR-132375 a month ago and have created two subsequent posts as well. I can not get anyone to respond and I have not been able to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Not sure what else to do but leave this review so someone sees my request.
