Fantastic care. Friendly primary care for our kid.
We will not be returning to this office. We’ve been twice and both times were horrible. The wait time was almost an hour just to get in a room then it was another 45 minutes - hour before you even saw a doctor. The doctor was so impersonal and acted like they didn’t even have time to see you. They just gave some generic response, wouldn’t listen to any concerns or answer questions. My child has only been a patient AFTER they merged with Akron Children's. I book all her appointments via MyChart and haven't had any issue. I did have issues getting her set up as a new patient where I did have to use the phone system. It's also frustrating to check in online, and then fill out the same forms once we arrive at the office. We see 2 providers and love them both. They've been great about explaining things.
The staff and pediatricians here are great, but the transition to Akron children's hospital is an absolute mess, through no fault of the staff or doctors here. Contacting the office or returning their calls is a long, tedious process of contacting akron childrens scheduling service, waiting through minutes of prerecorded messages, dealing with sometimes rude and incompetent customer service, and sometimes being transferred multiple times, all to speak with the staff at an office within walking distance.
