I once loved this place I had two cats who were brothers this vet took care of them when they were kittens. My cat that they took care of past away with Cardiomyopathy. They were great with my cat and me! I sang praises about the care and how wonderful they were! Fast forward to present day my ot her cat is in a very bad way. I am in a panic because my baby is not doing well! They tell me they can't get him in till 5 days later. And to call somewhere else.. Dr.Corrie and all the staff there are really just amazing! Went above and beyond for my cat Cheese! He needed 4 teeth removed in the long run and everyone was soo caring and helpful throughout that process! From fitting me in last minute with a busy schedule, to answering all my questions when I called. Very grateful to them for everything.
I can't help but notice that all but one of the 1 Star reviews were related to the same cat and owner's interaction with Akron Animal Hospital. While this is unfortunate, I can tell you it is in no way indicative of the care and respect that is offered to us every time we walk in the door. We switched to Dr. Corrie after less than adequate care elsewhere and we will never go anywhere else. Staff at Akron is superb, knowledgeable, fair and professional. Thank you, Dr. Corrie and Staff.
Caring staff and great day care
They are amazing l. The staff all love animals and fall in love with your pet and treat them as if they were their own. Dr. Cory and the staff took care of my best friend Louie for fifteen years rite until he past away recently and there was a few big surgery’s in that time. I wouldn’t recommend another place to anyone, I can’t say how grateful I am for how well they all cared about Louie at Akron animal hospital.
What a wonderful staff- they give 110% for all our dogs!
We have been going to Akron Animal Hospital for 6 years. Today we had an emergency with one of our dogs and we called to say we were on our way and immediately received attention and assistance. We are so grateful for the quick assistance, the reassurance and immediate attention we were given. Thank you again.
