Dr. Dewanwala is a lovely person who listens, (detail oriented) and wants what's best for her patients. I arrive for my 1st appt and had NO paperwork to fill out! Awesome. Dr. Dewanwala is a wonderful caring doctor that I had the privilege to be seen when I was admitted to the hospital for severe stomach pains. She was exceptionally! The nightmare is with her staff person, the lady that answers the phones and schedules appointments. She rude, lacks empathy, care, or concern. Every time that I called She was the only option to speak to someone, so I could not avoid her and speak to someone else. Her rudeness oozes over the phone. Please be aware of this gastroenterologist she perforated my colon. I was in the hospital almost 8 days.. I had to have emergency surgery... I was seriously injured by this doctor. She is not a good doctor for colonoscopies. Terrible I spent eight days in the hospital because of this woman... She has a real hard time admitting it... Be very very careful.... Simply put this is not a good doctor.

Initial consultation was with PA Sonal Patel. She is awesome! Very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Had a colonoscopy with Dr Dewanwala and she found that I have colon cancer. She has been excellent with explaining everything to me. She has been on top of my care by calling and giving me options and I feel that she truly cares in helping me. Would definitely recommend this practice 100%
