Dr Akright is great however her PA Wendy does not know how to work with Seniors. She is abrupt and does not have the patience to listen and talk to you. She can direct and talk at you but not with you to come to a good conclusion. I would not see her anymore due to her poor and pushy attitude.

This office has become a factory, and now that they've added a Nurse Practitioner, it's next to impossible to actually see Dr Akright, EVEN if you have a very complex medical situation. The people at the front desk try and the woman in the lab is great, BUT the medical assistant Denise is a nightmare - she is rude, has EXTREMELY poor listening skills, and refuses to pass messages on to Dr Akright. No, but they said they were going to!

They don't really take that extra step to make me feel special. I'm just another client to them. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. This doctor charges fees and doesn't tell you about them. There were always random fees on my bill that the insurance wouldn't cover, and everyone in the office would have a different explanation for them.
