Hands down this is the worst company I’ve ever encountered! We spent approximately $10,000 in blinds and shutters one year ago. Every single shutter has a problem- either the shutters are warped and let in a ton of light or you can’t open or close the shutter. I contacted Renee numerous times and got the run around. She even told me she moved out of state when I asked her to come look at the blinds. I’ll attach the latest casualty for our shutters. Run don’t walk away from this company!
WORSE THAN THE WORST!!! I normally never write negative reviews but AKP has been the WORST service I have gotten in any service in my 40 years living in different cities in the world!!! I feel I must warn other people that your deposit will be held HOSTAGE like ours has! So we made our deposit mid-March, now JUNE 29 and they have not completed our shutters yet when they PROMISED 6-8 weeks post-deposit. I found them on FB marketplace and honestly wished I went the more pricey route because we got the TACKIEST most unprofessio... read more

I really love my shutters! Renee and her assistant are very professional and knowledgeable. Very helpful in assisting in picking out what shutters would look best with our house decoration. There was a manufacture defect on one of the shutters but they immediately addressed the issue and sent it back for repairs. It all looks good now and I do recommend them! I regret not adding them to the kids room as they do help a lot to block the sun when it’s too hot.
