Made a appointment on line for 10 am toady for a oil change and and 2 recalls. Bob call at 9 am and said they can only do the oil change. Been here today for over 2 hours and still counting for a simple oil change.
Just bought a vehicle from Akins. We went on a very busy day. Ray Bramlett took great care of us. Even though we had to wait a while to finalize our purchase, it was still great. Their waiting area was very comfortable. Will definitely recommend Akins to friends and family!
1 star is giving too much credit. I drove my 2013 jeep wrangler in with the heater not operating. 2 weeks later it's in worst shape and I can't even drive it out to take to a different dealership to fix the issue. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life! Ricky (my service rep) needs to be fired. Joe Akins + all other managers did absolutely nothing but pass things back to Ricky. And for the record, you purchased 5/27. This email was sent nearly 40 days later. What should the threshold be for a vehicle that a person signs and buys "as-is"? The paperwork reads 0 days. Throw that out the window? But only when it applies to you?
I drove over 800 miles all the way from Michigan to buy two brand new flatbed tow trucks. They were $3,000 to $5,000 cheaper per truck than the local wrecker dealers. This was a First class experience, Laura is Great to work with and I highly recommend buying from Akin Ford!!!
I drove over 9 hrs to go to Akins, and this place is amazing. They treated my family with respect and treated my situation like it was priority number one. The prices are out of this world and I will never buy a vehicle anywhere else again. They are fair on your trade-ins and their inventory is HUGE. Go in and ask for Richard Dove BC he was so patience with my wife, and he explained the vehicle perfectly. The management staff are easy to work with as well.
