Food was delicious, but it took 50 minutes to get. We were late for a 7 o clock curtain around the corner. We arrived to the restaurant at 6:15. Never going back when I have somewhere to be after:
We'd just landed from a long flight and wanted a quick, light meal. Akiko"s sushi bar is small and cosy and it reminded us of the many small eateries in Japan.. Service was brisk and polite. The food was authentic and spot on. The spicy tuna, unagi, hotate and tobiko nigiris were really good. The sushi was crisp and fruity. The tuna sashimi was good but not great though. The edamame was overcooked. Otherwise it was a really good meal.
