I've been going to Akiko for the basic facial for around 6 months and now I get frequent compliments on how clear and moisturized my skin looks. What sets her apart is her approach to extractions. While most extractions are very aggressive, Akiko is thorough while still keeping the experience relaxing, which is a rare combination. I've brought multiple friends to see her and would travel back to LA specifically for her facials.
Seeing Akiko has become my favorite form of self-care. My skin has never looked better, and I always feel so genuinely cared for. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful in everything she does. Can’t recommend her enough.
This was my first facial in 40+ years of life, and it was an absolute dream of an experience! Akiko was kind, communicative, thorough, and made me feel absolutely welcome. I often find "self-care" experiences to be stressful, but she put me at ease from the moment I arrived. She was supportive and enthusiastic about my current skincare routine, and didn't shame me for things like being tan or forgetting sunscreen. And skin looked terrific afterwards.
