icky I do think they are a good price and probably do good work but I certainly would never go back and I don't think any female would be comfortable there. I'd rather pay a few dollars more, and I will, rather than go back. The girl at the front is sloooooooooow, terrible and I told her so. She just shrugged her shoulders and that was that. Highly Recommend I've been going to Akey Brakey since around 2000 and I've had nothing but great experiences. Unlike other mechanics, I've been talked out of procedures that I thought I needed. I've also received many freebies like topped fluid replacements, light bulb changes, etc. This is one of the few places that I freely refer to others without concern that I'll look foolish.

Honest mechanic. I moved out from Agoura Hills 3 years ago. Now, I got a hard time to get an honest mechanic in the new area where I moved in. I miss Gregg auto repair service big time, his quality work is recommendable, his price is reasonable, and most of all they (Gregg and Mark) are very honest mechanics. Happy Customer I've owned used cars for the last 8 years, and have trusted this establishment to keep me on the road. It was my son that sent me to Akey Brakey. Needless to say consistency has earned the confidence I have in Greg's honesty and willingness to offer the best options available. It's disheartening that unreasonable expectations find their way onto the internet as reviews. 8 years, great results, and my recommended friends have had the same positive experience.

Quote was Fair, Quality of install good. Greg seems like a good mechanic to me. I always get several quotes when I need repairs done, his price is always fair. I don't expect any mechanic to sell me parts at cost. They are a business and should have a retail mark up. The most important thing to me is that the parts are installed right and that work being done, actually needs to be done. So far, with Akey Brakey, I've had No Problems. owner I own Akey Brakey Auto. Once again i will need to respond to an unfair review. Sara came in and waited for our discounted oil change and gave us a list of 3 additional items to inspect for her. 1. seat belt twists, 2. heater inoperative 3. door lock on drivers side inoperative. The seat belt was twisting and appeared to have been installed backwards by someone. She did not want that repaired. BAD PLACE!!!!! Akey Brakey is a horrible establishment. The deceit and the challenges I endured from this shop was endless. First I originally took my vehicle in for an oil change and asked Greg to check several other concerns I had. Well, he did, but his mechanic was shady. Repairs on my vehicle I took my car to Greg for many reasons and over a period of many years. Even when I changed cars, I took my cars to Akey Brakey for repairs, because Greg is an honest person. He has always been fair and reasonable with pricing. Has always described any work to be done, and has even found less expensive ways to repair my car if it was possible.
