He is a good Dr my first time going to deliver with him from other people I’ve heard he’s really good and their nurse practitioners are very caring.
Dr. Sogol Aschrafian who practices under Ackerman told me to get an abortion, because of a medication I was on. If I were you I would get an abortion and try again. When a Dr says something like that you tend to believe them, turned out as Ackerman said at my next appointment that it was only 1% chance of baby being born deformed, but it was too late. First time patient here, probably won't be coming back to this facility my next pregnancy. They are not up to date with my insurance, which leaves me at pending with my co payment. If I do have any they said they collect it all at once in the end. Receptionist doesn't take her positions serious. I've had 3 mess ups in my time being seen there by a specific receptionist I wish I would've get her name ill be sure to get it next time I go. The female doctors are very rude. They don’t explain anything nor go over results even after asking them too. Horrible experience wouldn’t recommend.
Dr. Akerman and his staff are amazing. I have had 2 previous miscarriages (not while under Dr. Akerman's care) and when I got pregnant again I was terrified. I found Dr. Akerman, him and I am so grateful for him and his amazing staff. My pregnancy was complicated because of my high blood pressure, subchorionic hematoma and etc..
