Never in my adult life had I ever been complimented on my haircut — until I started seeing AKB eight years ago. Now, I get compliments all the time. I’m not an easy client because I’m always wanting to tweak or change something, but AKB always takes my ideas and turns them into a work of art, keeping me looking sharp and professional. I would never let anyone else cut my hair — AKB is simply the best.
I’ve been seeing a.k.b. for over five years now, and since I moved, I drive five hours just to see him. He not only does wonders with hair, but he also creates a serene experience in a safe space. AKB is a genius. Finally, I found someone who can do a spectacular cut for short naturally curly hair, AND do brilliant color! Since moving to Austin I have tried to find someone to do my hair. I was getting down right depressed! I saw a lady at the Austin airport while traveling, and literally went running after her to ask who did her hair. This is how I found AKB. AKB not only is talented, but takes the time to notice every detail and works hard to make you look your best! I highly recommend him
I've been seeing AKB for more than 13 years now. I initially came to him with the need for a "helmet friendly" haircut, that I didn't have to worry about messing up when taking my motorcycle helmet on and off. We've since evolved my hair style a handful of times. I love letting him do his thing, working with my hairs natural patterns to make it super easy to live with, no products or fussing necessary! Could not recommend AKB more!
