DO NOT I repeat do not use Akbar Contracting for any job. I used at the recommendation of a friend and they completely over promised and under performed. I could have finished the job faster I used 12th graders from Tech ed classes. When you call his company his assistant blatantly states she doesn't know where he is or when he will be back. I chased this man for 3 weeks to get the status on my project that kept stoping by the way its still not done. It was rare the same workers came back to do the work. I won't say for sure... read more
DO NOT employ Akbar Contracting. They worked on an addition to my home two years and weren’t capable of completing the project timely. The work they did complete was severely defective and not structurally sound. Stay away.

I hired Akbar Contracting for my home remodeling project. They tore out my kitchen and two baths and remodeled it with a new and cleaner design. They changed the layout of the home to make it open concept and installed everything new..... cabinets, appliances, paint, tiling, bathroom fixtures. I did want to keep the original floors so they sanded and stained them --- and oh my they looked amazing ans still look good today!!! We worked with Akbar Contracting on our home remodel a few months ago. We had our kitchen fully remodeled with a new layout and added a new bathroom in the basement. They gave our two main bathrooms a facelift. We are extremely satisfied with the work. They are very responsive and proffesional ---- and just good people to work with. We recommend and wish we had known about them when we completed a previous minor renovation.
