This is a long overdue review of when I was getting seen by Dr. Sharma. I was referred by my primary care doctor to her office back when it was located at scripps ranch. Since then they had moved. At first, my treatment was going well but then after a year I was still having issues but still getting the require shots I needed to control my hives. Initially the whole experience was fair. Dr. Sharma seems rushed and dismissive. Turns out the rash i developed on my body for 6 months was non allergic in nature and now in the middle of a lupus work up with several other specialists. I was surprised she was unable to determine an autoimmune issue from the start. Instead my care was delayed in seeing the right specialist from the start.

Dr. Sharma asked me exactly zero questions before coming in the room and declaring in two sentences that my concern of MCAS was irrelevant and that I “only think that because of Google” before leaving the room. Even though, had she asked, she would know it was brought up because my daughter has a confirmed diagnosis and we both share a diagnosis that puts us in a higher prevalence category. Doctor Alphonso Nichols is very patient, accurate diagnosis, very detailed oriented persons…I saw a lot of adolescent patients love him and I appreciate his great works, as a Rn I found him very optimistic doctor, go straightly to the point of view, brief, accuracy and helpful…
