Most unprofessional people that answer the phones there. Spent 5 weeks trying to get a call back as a new patient and finally got ahold to someone and send all insurance info in and spent another two weeks waiting for authorization. They ended up telling me I could private pay as my insurance doesn’t contract with them. They named the wrong insurance. I’ve been a patient of this medical group for some time now and I do have to recognize they have huge turnover and some of the previous staff weren’t very good at patient care. I’ve been having billing issues since I started coming to Akane. I recently called and spoke to a new manager and she was very helpful. She was able to fix issues mistakes the previous billing manager did and never corrected. I trust Dr Karippot and Dr Sharma. I went to do a sleep study there overnight. The building is hard to miss. It is a large 3 story building, 1 block West of Highway 15 on the corner of Miramar Rd. They provided a twin bed, pillows, and blankets and had a technician observe my sleeping issues all night. I felt like, they put in serious effort in interpreting and conveying to me the data/results of my test. No fan though, which would have been a nice addition.
