The food quality crashed. It is not worth eating here. I used to love it. The owner still makes good broth, but the ingredients are cheap and bad quality. I got the Nijishin-the vegetable tempura is literally a ball of thick battered onions. The shrimp is cocktail shrimp in thick batter. Which is not the light airy tempura you’d expect for authentic Japanese-it is Americanized. There’s store bought wheat noodles with buckwheat particles instead of actual buckwheat flour noodles.
