I’m doing a body off pan restoration of a ‘65 VW bug and I gave the pan to Allen Gonzalez at AJ Collision for refurbishing (welding, repairs and paint). I did this to see if he’d be a good fit to do the entire restoration. However, what should’ve only taken a few weeks took more than 3 months and he charged me more than 2 and half times what we had initially talked about!!! This BUISNESS HAS F RATING WITH THE BBB and this owner has 4 closed complaints and mine in progess. Allen Gonzalez had my car for 75 days when he told me he would have it for 12. Frame still off by 13 millimeters confirmed by 2 body shops who both said this is one of the worst repair job they have seen. Bumper missing bolts and parts. Broken clips and bumper up against impact bar missing shield. Owner is a fraud.. I helped my granddaughter pay for over $5.000 car repairs on her white Honda Civic EX. The frame work and the air bag is not completed properly! After this shop worked on her car the frame is OFF BY 13 MILIMETERS, and bolts and parts missing from bumper!!!. The hood crooked and bent!!!. When my granddaughter got her car back after waiting for MANY WEEKS, her car is very unsafe for her to drive!!
