Our practice was established in South Sioux City in 1973 by Dr. Joseph Aitken. His son, Dr. Matt Aitken, returned to the town he was born and raised in and joined the practice in July of 2000 at its new location. The staff at Aitken Family Dentistry were quick and efficient. My hygienist explained everything during the cleaning process and was gentle yet thorough. During my exam, I explained an issue I was experiencing and Dr. Aitken compared old information to new information and made the necessary referral before I left the office. Great service from great people.
Matt does great work and the staff is professional and friendly as well. Check them out if you need some work done or just a biannual cleaning, they do it all.
I recently switched to Aiken dentistry and Dr. Aiken and his entire staff have exceeded every expectation that I had. From the gals at the front desk, to the team in the back, to Dr. Aiken-everyone is authentic, genuine, friendly, compassionate and caring. I’m extremely happy with my decision, and wish I would have switched earlier.

Dr. Aitken did an excellent job with my son, Jax. He was very caring and explained every part of the procedure to Jax so he knew what to expect. The entire staff was very friendly. Thank you for making our experience so painless.
