RecommendedJay Weiss has been caring for our dogs for over 13 years, and in my opinion, after trying several others prior to being recommended to him, is the absolute best, most compassionate vet around. He and his assistant, Stephanie, care about your pets like their own.
Have Kind listens to you and explain things
Our cat Petunia has been a patient of Dr. Weiss since we adopted her in 2009. Love the care she receives on regular visits as well as for a serious health issue last summer. This is a great place for pets and their families that love them!
Staff are attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. Stephanie and Dr Wiess know us by our name and genuinely care about about our dog Chorzio.

Dr Jay and Stephanie and hands down THE BEST! My cat has needed 2 emergency surgeries and they have not only saved my cats life on 2 occasions but kept me informed and calm during all of it and each time I rushed in with my sick cat they immediately assured me that they would do whatever it took to help my cat! Love them!
I took my dog to Airport Vet and she loved it! They were incredibly nice and understanding and you could tell they really cared about my dog's comfort. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Poughkeepsie Area. They are hands down some of the best Vets in the area and my only regret is I didn't learn about them sooner.
My wife and I can't think it possible that anyone could care for our babies better. Dr Jay and Stephanie are the best .
Have been taking 2 generations of my pets to Dr. Weiss since we moved to Wappingers (I won't say for how long, don't want to age myself ;-) ), always compassionate, great sense of humor, and I love Stephanie too!
