The Howard Johnson Airport Roanoke is a great hotel, if all you want is a basic, convenient place to stay. The room was clean, and the hotel is very convenient to the airport and other venues in Roanoke. I was a little worried when I looked at the map: the hotel is right beside the airport. I was afraid plane noise would be a problem. For me, it wasn't.
Central to the locations, we wanted to visit.

Location Improving – I have stayed at this location before to my displeasure. Because of the location and price I continue to visit. It seams as if the Hotel is being worked on and that it is improving.
Fairly close to airport, shopping center and highway.
This newly remodeled facility was a real pleasure in its price range. Clean, friendly service at the front desk, and the area felt safe.
