Our house has a 2-zone Trane HVAC system (upstairs/downstairs) that's 18 year old. The upstairs 3-ton A/C failed due to total refrigerant leakage and would have to be replaced. Due to age, it made sense to also replace the furnace. I have made several complaints and have requested a call from the owner on several occasions but to no avail. Perhaps because I am a female? Not really sure, however, I can tell you that on 4 occasions in the last 8 years, after my spring maintenance was completed, I had a major leak which damaged the ceiling in more than one room. Everyone from Airmax was excellent. First John the boss was a pleasure to deal with he came and checked my house and he called me back the next day with a price. He then sent me the estimate with all items and prices listed. We agreed on the price and he made a fate for a week away and said crew would be at my home by 8 a.m. The delivery truck was here by 7:30 and the crest of the crew arrived before 8. Had a problem with my 2 month old system. Called the office in Ronkonkoma-- a service man, Sean, was here in 15 minutes. Unit had a slight leak. Sean fixed it in 30 minutes. Very professional. Good company to work with.

When my 20 year old a/c died and it was 90 degrees, I was in trouble, Airmax took their time and explained all my options. We installed a great 16 SEER system, I received a PSEG rebate, my energy bills are less. The Airmax crew did a great job, neat, courteous professional - I couldn't ask for more.
