The spot had a cool speakeasy vibe with modern touches—surprisingly cozy for the neighborhood. The host was super friendly and gave great recommendations. Food was flavorful: mentaiko pasta, crispy rice, and tasty cocktails. Portions were generous for the price. Not too busy when we went, so we didn’t wait. Parking was easy nearby. Maybe tweak the seasoning on the pork ribs next time—they were a bit dry.
Went on a whim and this place straight up slaps! Wings, noodles, some Asian aguachile kind of dish, short rib, my god. Totally shocked at how good the food is here. Waiters and waitresses were super friendly and helpful as well. And after your meal, you can pop upstairs to the dance floor for some djs or live music. This is my first time here since the most recent renovation and I will be back soon. Between here, and Zizou, the neighborhood is getting some great date spots.
Stopped by The Airliner and had a really good experience. The food and drinks were fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented, making for an enjoyable visit. The place has a relaxed, modern atmosphere that works well for both a casual meal and a coffee break. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great spot to unwind and enjoy good food 👍
This review is for a live music show I attended. The kitchen wasn't open on that day, so I wasn't able to eat their food. I did have an Old Fashioned at the bar, which was excellent. I had recent knee surgery, and knowing that the music venue is standing room only and on the second floor, reached out via email prior to the show asking for any accommodations. It takes a lot for me to leave a 1 star. We sat for about 20 minutes without anyone taking our order. Another group that was already seated when we arrived asked to move to the bar, probably because they were tired of waiting too. When we decided to just leave and go somewhere else, they still didn't have their orders taken at the bar. Disappointing because we were looking forward to trying the food and drinks.
