Had my crankshaft for 4 months for overhaul, minimal feedback on time estimate or status during that time period. When I did call, they gave me a time projection, always inaccurate without any explanation or notification of further delay. Things come up with any business, including my own, but it's only civil to inform the customer, at least make some effort to make it up to him. Very bad experience with ordering about 20 critical engine bolts and nuts. Paid for 2 day shipping and two weeks later I have not seen one item yet despite many being in stock. Understood that a few were drop ship items from distributors. Zero communication after order completed online.

My overhauled (exchanged starter adapter) unit is fit for service, that is good. Nevertheless… Horrible communication. Got the usual core con routine. Charged me $800 without authorization and did no return the alleged defective part. My business with Aircraft Specialties Services confirms my previous experience with FAA repair stations, who are too often above the laws of common courtesy, proper customer service and honesty.

I ordered a part from them for 2nd night delivery. 4 days later I called to check and they said that when they got it in stock they would ship it. I got stuck in a real pinch because I didn't have my part when I was supposed to. The person who answered my call did not really care and tried to blame me. If I need something soon, I will not order from them again.
