After a round of thunderstorms my 90 year old mother’s AC would not run. Called Airco to check out the problem. Was told their service call fee was $99. They found the outside power switch was tripped. Charged $221 to flip the switch. Was at her house less than 30 minutes. When I contacted Airco they informed me that’s their charge to flip a breaker switch. Will not use this company again and have informed others to beware of this company
Not long ago, the air conditioner in my son's house suddenly stopped working, we called Airco, they quickly sent a technician, to my surprise, he was able to immediately diagnose the cause of the condense pipe blocked and fixed it. The next day the air conditioner stopped work again, we called Airco Service. they sent someone to fix it again without charging because of the same cause. I feel like they're honest, no trick. Airco sent some coupons in the mail at just the right time (right place, right time). Took advantage of their $99 tune up deal. Service man was incredibly nice and professional. Explained some issues we had and offered to have a salesman come give us a free estimate, which they were able to do the next day. No tricks or extra fees at all.
