DO NOT RENT AND/OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY Terrible communication, terrible customer service, sleazy business practices, prices are low but not low enough to justify using this facility. I rented a unit from APMS for many years. Never missed a rent payment. After ownership shifted, they instituted insurance fees (fine) but feel no obligation to let you know you owe NINE whole additional dollars until after the fact (not fine). Office staff does not reply to emails or return phone calls. Went by the location in person during business hours twice, only to find the doors locked with an additional phone number to call for assistance that forwards to the same voicemail that gets no response.

First time renting U-Haul for an important move. Arrived to pick up the trailer and was advised that my hitch was awaiting me in Henrico. Rather than driving an hour (both ways), the guys called in and arranged for a reimbursement on the hitch, location for a better deal on a new hitch, and let me know everything was ready to go when I arrived back.
