I have a Direct Air side discharge AC unit that was sold by Air Heat Acarborough and installed by a small-time contractor in summer 2021 The unit was installed in 2021 and the condensor stopped working in July 2023. The contractor disappeared (which is not Air Heat's fault), however when I contacted Ryan at Air Heat Scarborough to fix or replace the unit, Ryan insisted that it was up to the Direct Air distributor (Powrmatic) to honour the warranty. Great supply store... service side gave them a 4.. they don't exactly shine in the customer friendly side of things.. seems be mostly contractors in there so not surprised. but great place to get what you need.
