They charge for labor even though you purchased a 10 year parts and labor warranty with them because I did not sign up for their yearly maintenance. This clause is NOT mentioned in the warranty paperwork you are given. Was never told this the two times they had come out before to service the unit. Technician who fixed the unit said it was all covered under the warranty and left. They sent me an invoice by email a month later and billed for two hours.
We purchased an AC unit from them 7 years ago and it came with a 10 warranty. They came out and looked at the unit and our compressor is out and now they are telling me that the warranty is not good. The first reason I was give was that we did not register it online so it was not good then I told them we were never told it had to be registered, and that the registration paper was still inside the unit when they came to work on it so how would we have even known to register it.
