I accompanied my brother to the clinic today because he had been able unable to hear out of his left ear for the past 6 weeks. He had been in a great deal of discomfort since the onset and was fearful about the prognosis. I finally convinced him to have an examination. The visit could not have gone any smoother. This was my first visit to this urgent care, and unfortunately it was a frustrating experience. I scheduled an appointment online for 5:29 pm and arrived early at 5:15 to complete paperwork, provide my ID, and insurance card (again). Despite this, I wasn’t called back until 7:20 pm—over two hours later. The staff were polite and sorta pleasant, but there didn’t seem to be much urgency in getting patients in and out. Worst experience. I went in knowing I am pregnant and wanted to find out at what stage I am. Receptionist at the counter was so uninformed. After taking my urine sample, waited for an hour, doctor comes in and says oh you are pregnant. Well that I know but I asked him I needed to know how many weeks then he said oh we don’t do this here - the ultrasound. They even took the co-pay of $50 from me. This is a terrible service. Pathetic service from the front desk staff. My insurance had changed and I am with PACE - SUTTER SENIOR CARE. They deliver all my medications at my home. I gave them the fax number where they should send the prescrition to, but they sent the prescription to Walmart Pharmacy and insisted that I go to Walmart Pharmacy. I asked for a printout of the prescription so that I could send it myself to my pharmacy and they were not willing to do that. I asked if I could get a print out of the "after visit summary" since it would have ... read more
