Dr. Leonard was excellent!
Third time treated by Dr. Leonard for Mohls surgery on my face. She explained the procedure throughly, explained what she was doing as she did it. I followed her after care instructions and have no scars that are visible to the naked eye. I trust her and her staff completely.
Dr. Leonard and her team treated a basal cell carcinoma on my scalp. It was my second Mohs procedure performed by Dr. Leonard, my first being some years ago on my face. I rated this entire experience at "five stars", from the original scheduling, through the intake and the procedure itself. I am in my 70s and have never before reviewed a doctor yet I had to this time because I was so impressed. Dr. Leonard as well as Jeanne and Ruthy could not not have been better. I am usually a wreck in doctors' offices but they all were so competent, communicative and kind during my Mohs surgery this month. You won't regret your choice if you decide on Dr. Leonard.
I had surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma on my face with Dr. Leonard. Needless to say, I was quite anxious about this, but the doctor's calm demeanor as well as the wonderful support staff: Bea; Denise; & Jean- made the procedure as comfortable as possible. In addition, the paperwork provided prior to the surgery was very thorough in explaining what to expect during & after the procedure. Hopefully, I will not need to have this done again, but if I do, I know I'll be in a competent & supportive environment.
This was the worst Dr.'s visit I've ever experienced! The nurse told my daughter and I that he had a PA shadowing him and a transcriber with him....we said okay. When he came in he stood in front of us never sat down spoke into his recorder while the transcriber was taking notes?? I couldn't tell if he was speaking to us or leaving notes for him self? Dr Leonard and her staff are the best! Not only is she highly skilled and competent in what Dr Leonard does, she is also personable, kind and caring.
That would have been 44 years ago. Made me feel comfortable since day one.
